Back links are Links pointing to your website from another website. The more back links you have the higher your PR will be.

1. Join forums, forums are a great way to achieve links to your website. In most forums you are allowed to have a signature and in your signature you can put a link to your website. But another important note to look on is making sure the forum is somewhat related to your website. You will still get credit if it’s not, but if it’s related to your website than you will be accomplishing two tasks at once.

You will be advertising for your website (bringing in targeted traffic) You will also be building your websites presence.

Your websites presence is very important to your survival. The more people see, or hear about your website the more credibility you will have and this increases your chances of having these visitors come back and possibly become leads.

2. Submit to search engine directories. Search engine directories are a good way to get a free link to your website. They also increase your chances at being listed higher on popular search engines like Google, and overture.

Most search engine directories allow you to submit to their website for free. This will allow you to increase your web presence by being listed on another search engine, and it will also be a free link.

Remember the more links you have the higher your PR will be

3. Using ezine ads (or newsletters). Creating an ezine will probably be the most beneficial step you can take to increasing your web presence. When you create an ezine you will be able to keep visitors coming back to your website for more by using signatures and giving special deals.

Ezine’s will also allow you to increase your back links. By creating an ezine you can submit your information about your ezine to an ezine directory. This directory will than link to your website(thus giving you a free link).

4. Creating and publishing articles. Articles are an easy source of generating new traffic. You can include your signature in your article. This will bring in more traffic from article submission directories.

Your signature usually consists of 4 to 8 lines. Usually the first line would be the title of the website that you are trying to advertise. The last line would be the link to the website and the lines in between these would be a sales pitch to draw your viewers into your website.

5. To increase your PageRank, or more precisely the PageRank of one of your pages (the homepage or any other, think of this), the first thing to do is to get links from other sites.
Getting External Links…

Here are some councils:

* Try to obtain a great number of links to your page (read our councils on this subject)
* Choose first the pages having good PageRank (be careful to distinguish the PageRank of a site and that of its pages: the PageRank of a site is by abuse of language that of its homepage, but the link towards your page will be perhaps located on another page having very bad PageRank)
* Choose pages having the least links possible (especially if their PageRank is small)
* Check that the page which put the link is well indexed by Google, otherwise its PageRank is worth zero and that will not bring anything to you. In particular, it should not contain any directive indicating to the crawlers not to index it (file robot.txt or META tags), and it should not be orphan (otherwise Google cannot index it).
* It can be more effective to have a link from a page with PageRank 4 with only a few links that a link from a page with PageRank 6 with a great number of links.
* The two best examples of links to be obtained are those of directories DMOZ and Yahoo! who seem to play a great role in Google’s algorithm. See our special pages about these two directories!

6. Importance of your internal links

Getting links from other sites is a very good thing but it is hard to control. On the other hand the links between YOUR pages, you can and must attach importance to it.

Thus, it is crucial to organize your own site well to optimize PageRank of all your pages. Indeed starting from the study on the formula of PageRank, we can consider that each page has a reserve of “points” (its PageRank) it can make some benefit to other pages by “transmitting” them a part of it.

Let us take the example of your homepage which succeeded in having good PageRank thanks to the exchanges of links with other sites. Your other pages can profit from it if you put a link from the homepage. Attention, the same rules apply: if you do many links, the share of PageRank transmitted to each one of your other pages will be weaker.

If you try to optimize your own site, it is better thus to avoid putting outgoing links (towards other sites) on your pages which have good PageRank, because an important part of your good PageRank will be spread and not transmitted to YOUR other pages. It is thus rather traditional to make a link from your homepage to a links page which will contain outgoing links.

Conversely, you can also build your site so as to improve PageRank of some of your pages (with the detriment of others). For example it is common to seek to have best possible PageRank for your homepage. Make therefore a link to this one on each page of your site, by putting for example your logo in the top left.

7. Links from related websites. Gaining links from related websites can be one of the most frustrating tasks you can attempt.

They are very easy to find, but can be somewhat difficult to obtain links from.

To find related websites, all you have to do is go to a search engine… say Google… and type in your subject. Maybe your website is based on ford mustangs.

You go to Google and type in ford mustangs, than you look around for pages that are somewhat related to your website. After you have done this (which should be very easy) you have to contact them in some way to get your link posted on their website. This can be the most difficult task because a lot of webmasters ignore e-mail’s from people requesting links because they don’t see the importance of it at the time. Some other reasons could be that they are rarely online, or they delete spam mail and sometimes delete their important emails in the process.

Important note: When looking for link partners don’t just link with websites that have a page rank of 4 or higher. Link with anyone and everyone you get a chance to. If you link to someone that has a page rank of zero, this will not hurt your page rank. It will only increase it because you are getting a link back to your website. Google doesn’t look at your back links page ranks to determine what yours is going to be. It simply looks at how many back links you have.

So if Google one day decided to link to a website that was just created and this website has a page rank of 0 and has a domain that goes something like this: mywebsite.geocities.com it’s page rank wouldn’t increase even though Google’s page rank is 10, it’s rank would still be zero because it would only have that one back link.

The troubling thing is, there are maybe a tenfold or even a hundredfold of stories inconsistent to theirs. Many have unsuccessfully launched a business venture that is internet based but only a handful shall succeed.

Is this because of luck? That is even more remote. It takes good business sense and a lot of help and team effort. Most importantly, it is the eagerness to succeed and the persistence to learn and the willingness to put in a lot of hard work and some money.

However, before shelling out your hard-earned money on advertising, here are three (3) smart reasons why you should consider paying for your traffic including common-sense methods of showing you how to prepare your website.

1. The quickest method for getting customers to your website is to pay for your traffic.

Like Neo, traffic is ‘The One’ . Without traffic, all your efforts would just go to waste. Every business needs customers, without them you wouldn’t have anyone to sell your products to. In the Internet world traffic is the walk in customer. The more traffic you possess the more people you’d be able to sell your products to.

But similar to any business that’s in every corner building or in the mall, not everyone that goes in will buy. But for those who do come in to browse your merchandise, most of them will buy your products. It is a clear and known fact.

But, how do you get traffic, traffic great enough that could make a small portion of resulting buyers enough to make a fair profit. Many big companies generate traffic of tens of thousands a day and a measly ten to fifteen percent actually buys, but that small percentage is enough to supply them with adequate business.

Many of these success stories get their traffic from paying others. Yes that’s right; you have to spend money to make money. Advertising is the key. The more people who know that your site exists the more people would of course go to your site, that’s common sense.

While there are numerous ways to get free advertising for your business, free advertising doesn’t generate the same high volume of traffic as paid traffic does. Paid advertisements include such advertising schemes as those offered by Google and Yahoo.

2. In order to take full advantage of the search engines, make sure that your site is properly optimized to rank high before paying for your traffic.

Search engines are the fastest and easiest way for finding what you need on the internet . Search engines are extremely popular because they provide an indispensable service to many people. They are free and easy to use. Because of their popularity, search engines receive many visitors as well as click throughs . With these benefits in mind, it is easy to see why so many companies would pay to advertise with search engines.

Search engines provide information to the millions of users they receive each day. They provide relevant links to many sites that a user may be looking for. If your site’s link pops up as one of the top ranked sites on the search results page, you stand a great chance that the user will click your link and go to your site. While search engine optimization is a cheaper and low cost way to get your site a high rank, paying for advertisements will ensure that you will be on the top ranks.

When you pay for your advertisements, it is like paying for guaranteed traffic to your site. This may not seem like a good idea at first, but the benefits of doing so far outweigh the cost in the long run. When you pay for your traffic, you are guaranteed a consistent flow of traffic to your site. You will at no time go without making a sale on any given day.

3. Find and use tools that will aid you in researching relevant keywords for your chosen niche so that you don’t waste money on advertising.

Normally, you will be charged with the number of hits a link gets when your ad is clicked, this is known as pay per click. For some search engines, you will be charged with the number of times your ad shows up when a certain keyword or keyword phrase is searched. It is imperative that you have good keyword content in your ad. There are many tools on the Internet which can aid you in using the right keywords at the right moment in time.

All the money you spend in paying for your traffic will not be for nothing. You will get an impressive boost in traffic which will also result in a great boost in your sales figures.

Every day, more and more website owners are discovering exactly how to make money out of Google, so much so, that many web publishers are actually making a full time income just from having Google adverts on their websites. So, what exactly is Google Adsense?

You’ve noticed on many websites, those “ads by Goooooogle”, followed by a number of adverts. Well visit Google themselves and you’ll see on the right, and sometimes near the top of search result pages, “Sponsored Links”. These are like the classified adverts that you see in your daily newspaper. Companies are paying to have their advert to be featured in this space, depending on the search phrases that you are typing in to the Google search box. Rather than a fixed price though, advertisers bid against each other to have their advert featured, with the highest bidder, getting the number 1 slot. This program is called “Google Adwords”.

While that proved a great success, the advertisers were limited to have their adverts only seen on Google. Then Google came up with the idea of paying website owners a percentage of the fee they get paid by the advertisers, for featuring the adverts on their own sites. This became the “Google AdSense” program.

Free to join, this program has become a popular way of adding a new income stream, but more than that, some website publishers started to build websites specifically for this Google program. Working out which adverts the advertisers were paying most for (so the percentage commissions are the highest), website publishers are building sites specifically targeting these high paying advert commissions – earning a living from sending people away from their sites!

As I say, the program is free to join, with an application to fill out, but Google must approve you before you can get started. The good news is that once you have been approved for your first website, you don’t need to apply again for any additional websites.

But before applying, you need to have a website which needs to be complete. The site must also contain what Google considers valuable content. This is the first step to making those profits. But before you think about designing your website, it is vitally important to choose a popular topic, with preferably high paying commissions – after all, you won’t profit from anything without any website visitors, no matter how good your site looks!

There are various tools on the web that you can use to check the popularity of keywords:

www.wordtracker.com has a valuable free report that you can download, as well as a free trial of their keyword monitoring service.

Overture.com is a company that competes with Google for placing adverts, and has a keyword research tool that also gives you the number of searches each term has had over the last month. You can find their tool here:

http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

Google also has a keyword research tool for their advertisers here:

https://adwords.google.com/select/main?cmd=KeywordSandbox

Once you have identified your topic, and you know the keywords that you will target throughout the content on your website, you are ready to build your site.

The design can be straightforward – in fact, do NOT go for some overly complex site design. You want your pages to appear fast; with the visitor seeing your content and those all important Google Adsense adverts.

You also want to make sure that you have optimized your pages for the search terms you have identified. One way, is to use already published articles (on the topic in question) with reprint rights, but add an introduction, which uses the keywords/keyword phrases in explaining to the reader what the article is about.

For example, for this very article, if you were targeting the keyword phrases “Google Adsense” and “Website Publishers” you could have written:

Many web publishers are discovering the profits to be made using Google Adsense.

Vic Carrara of onlyforprofit.com gives an introduction to what Google Adsense is, and how website publishers can build income from sending people away from their websites.

- And, for emphasis, put the first line in H1 tags, with the second in H2 tags –

When your site is complete with a good range of articles on your chosen topic, it’s time to apply for a Google AdSense account. You can find the application form at http://www.google.com/services/adsense_tour/

It should only take a few days for Google to approve (or reject) your website. If, unfortunately you are rejected, simply follow Google’s advice and make the necessary changes to your site, then apply again. Reading through the information on Google’s AdSense website will help you to avoid mistakes that may get you rejected. Once approved, you will want to have a good look round all the facilities you have available, and customize your Google AdSense ads to fit in with your own website’s style and feel.

Once that is done, you can start to put Google AdSense search boxes on every page of your website, but make sure that you’ve read the terms and conditions at Google first. For instance, if you have a thank you page that visitors arrive at after signing up for a newsletter, Google AdSense ads are not to be used on that page!

You are allowed to have two ad units on each page, as well as a Google Search Box. Make use of this, using perhaps a skyscraper on either the left or right hand side of the page. Google AdSense profits experts agree that the right hand side of the page gets the most clicks. Put an additional ad unit either at the top or the bottom of each page, using the rectangle ad units.

Sidebar: There are various forums on the internet that focus on the techniques of using Google Adsense profitably. Here are a few of the more popular ones:

http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum89/

http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30

http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27

Put the ads on every page that you can on your website. This includes adding the Google AdSense ads to your blogs and your forums. It may take up to twenty four hours for relevant ads to start appearing on your website pages. Until then, you will probably have a public service notice.

Once your ads appear, make sure that they are relevant to the content on your pages. If they aren’t, make changes to the pages. You might need to change the names of the HTML files, using your keywords. Adjust the keywords in your Meta tags, as well as the keywords and keyword density throughout the page content. Change the text in the title tag, and/or change t=the text of your H1 and H2 headings. Upload the new pages, and see if the ads that are appearing are more relevant. Keep working at it until they are – this is important if you want to maximize your revenue.

Sounds like hard work?
Well yes, it is while you’re learning.
But once you’ve got the hang of it, realize that you’re creating ‘hands free’ income.

Once your site is as good as it can be, and the ads that are appearing are relevant, it is time to start marketing the website. This can include a variety of current popular methods such as: pay-per-click advertising, forum marketing, article marketing, distributing newsletters to your opt-in list, participating in newsgroups and email discussion lists, using a signature file … and so on. The more traffic you can get to your site, the more clicks you will get on your Google AdSense ads.

Then what? Keep updating your website, keep marketing the site, and you will soon see Google AdSense Profits. As you learn, and as you develop an understanding on how it’s all done, you’ll probably want to create a number of sites on different topics to realize even more Google AdSense profits!

The debate is particularly heated at the moment, as Google rolls out its “Jagger” upgrade.

Let’s start with what we mean by inbound links, also called backlinks. These are links from other sites to your URL, which direct the surfer directly to your site when the link is clicked. The basic premise is that if you have high ranking sites linking to you, then you must yourself be important and have valuable content, and hence you should rank highly. The way in which Google ranks sites is called Pagerank and can be seen as a green line on the Google Toolbar representing ranks 0 to 10. As Google states

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page’s value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important.”

Important, high-quality sites receive a higher PageRank, which Google remembers each time it conducts a search. Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they don’t match your query. So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a term appears on a page and examines all aspects of the page’s content (and the content of the pages linking to it) to determine if it’s a good match for your query.

So, back to the question “Does having inbound links to your site help your site’s credibility”, and hence visibility when searched. The broad answer to this question is “yes”, but with a number of very important caveats which we will cover in the other sections.

OK, so backlinks are basically good, especially from high ranking sites, so how do we get them? The first way, and best way, is by having such great content on your site that all these high-powered sites want to link to you. Downside to this method is that it is slow and takes lots of time and effort on your part. But don’t worry, when anyone tries to build a level playing field there are always people out there that will provide work-arounds.

The first one was reciprocal links, whereby you say that you will link to a site if they also link to you. That’s stretching the original idea, but it’s not too bad because how many of these sort of links are you going to set up? Well, actually, some people have created thousands of such links between sites, maybe not what Google initially intended!

But then, due to the emphasis Google placed on link popularity, the concept of link farms was born. These are sites that link to other sites purely to increase the links to the site. Pay a few dollars and get thousands of links to your site. Too good to be true – you bet. Google hates link farms and sees these links as spam and will actively penalise sites that use such links. So, the first rule of linking is do not use link farms. The second rule is do not use lots of reciprocal links, Google can easily check this and the “Jagger” update that is currently rolling out seems to be particularly focused on penalising sites with lots of reciprocal links. The jury is still out on whether “themed” links will be treated in the same way. “Themed” links are links to sites that are very closely aligned to the same primary topic as your own site. If you think about this, it makes a lot of sense and is much more likely to be based on real content-based linking.

We believe another area Google is focusing on is how quickly your site gains backlinks. If your site is one month old, it is hardly believable for it to gain 100 real backlinks in that time. So, the third rule of linking is to ensure your links build in a realistic way. In all of these ways, Google is trying to ensure fairness and that’s why new sites are often held back in the results pages.

Finally, we should mention the sites that will improve your ranking – the Directories. There are many of these, but the most important is DMOZ, also known as the ODP. DMOZ is the Open Directory Project and is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors. It gets the name DMOZ from the acronym for Directory Mozilla, as it is administered by Netscape Communication Corporation. It’s Pagerank is 9 and hence a link from DMOZ will help your site. We recommend that everyone visits http://dmoz.org and attempts to get listed, it’s free. The Yahoo directory is also important and free for non-commercial sites, but $299 a year for business.

So, in summary, by far the best way of getting links is by having a quality site that other people want to link to. So again, we are back to content. If you provide quality information, over time, more and more sites will link to you, and if they are in the same business sector as you, so much the better.

The performance of PPC campaigns is dependent on following factors:

	- The impression rate
- Your ad position
- Click thru rate (CTR)
- Conversion rate

Finding the right balance between impression rate, ad position and clicks is the starting point to successful PPC advertising. Before exploring tips to help your campaign perform better, let’s quickly sum-up the concept how Google displays your ads in its sponsored results:

* Daily budget controls frequency of your ad display

The frequency is expressed by number of impressions. If your daily budget is not high enough, your ad may not show all the time (meaning you don’t have enough impressions per day).

* Ad position depends on the Rank Number

The higher the rank number, the higher is your ad’s position on the page. The rank number is calculated based on the following formula:

Rank Number = CPC (Cost Per click) x CTR (click through rate) x (Ad quality)

Now we’re ready to explore what practices are more likely to help us improve PPC campaigns performance:

1/ Improve Ad Delivery

If your ad does not show up every time when searches are performed under your keyword, it may be a sign that your daily budget is not high enough. As you now know, how frequent of your ad display is controled by the daily budget. If you would like your ad to be shown more frequently, please consider to increase your daily budget in order to receive a maximum exposure for your ad.

Normally, you have 50% margin for your daily budget. For example, if your desired daily budget is $10.00 per day, you can set your actual daily budget on Google to $15.00 per day, because your actual spending is based on your click thru rate, by setting the daily budget higher will allow your ad to get more exposure, but your actual spending may still be in your desired daily budget range.

However, be sure to monitor your daily advertising costs and if they are rising too high, decrease the budget on the safe level.

2/ Improve Ad Delivery per Keyword

Each campaign can have one or more adroups. An AdGroup is a group of keywords and ads that will display when those keywords are searched for on Google. You may have experienced a situation when only few keywords out of the whole AdGroup trigger your ad. The explanation lies again behind the daily budget that controls a number of impressions for your campaign. These impressions are distributed between individual AdGroups and further between individual keywords. So it may happen that some keywords in a particular Adgroup have more impressions than the others, meaning some keywords trigger your ad more frequently than others.

If you want to improve the ad delivery for your targeted keywords, you can consider splitting your keywords and creating a new campaign for keywords with low impressions. This should improve the frequency with which they will trigger your ad.

3/ Optimize your Adgroups

As mentioned above, each campaign has one or more adroups that all share campaign’s impressions. Often, the impressions are not divided evenly between adgroups. So it may happen that some adgroups have more impressions and show their ad(s) more frequently than others. It is a very similar scenario as with keywords we just described above.

To improve results of your low-performing adgroups, you can consider to create a new campaign for them in order to increase the frequency with witch they show your ad on Google.

4/ Analyse your Clicks

Make sure the clicks are made for specific, targeted keywords. If you’re getting lots of clicks on non-targeted keywords, consider reducing Max CPC and/or your ad position in order to improve your ROI. Similarly, you can raise bids for targeted keywords that are performing well.

5/ Optimize your Ads

Make sure you bid on targeted keywords, create compelling ads and link them to relevant content on your website. The keywords you chose will segment the market and target your desired audience. If you won’t chose wisely, you’ll finish targeting the wrong market and wasting your advertising budget. The ad you create needs to attract attention of your prospects. It needs to communicate your unique selling feature – in other words, what makes your product/service different from others and why a visitor should visit your website. Be specific about your offer and include call to action. Lastly, guide visitors to the content on your website where they can access more information about the offer advertised. The landing page should also clearly state what is the next natural step to make – buy your product, download the white paper, sign up for a free trial, etc.

PPC management requires lots of work and testing but if you stick to the basics you can make money instead of losing them. Remember, the only measure that matters on the Internet is the profit you make.

That internet advertising revenues reached an estimated new record of $4.2
billion for the third quarter of 2006 and that the internet advertising market
has been growing more than 30% for the last 4 consecutive years.

“Google reported revenues of $3.66 billion for the quarter ended March 31, 2007″

Google Adsense is revolutionizing the web, high school kids are making fortunes
per month with Adsense paying their classes and helping their fathers paying
the bills at home.

Lawyers and doctors gaved up their practices to make millions with Google.

Thanks to Google Adsense revenues the internet is growing faster each day, while
Google is paying the bills webmasters create more quality websites with free
content and utilities for everyone, websites that you look for when your cash
flow is fading. People create websites just for make money with Adsense and
this reason is reflecting on the web contributing to the fast growth of
thousands of websites and ideas that born every day. When you use Adwords to
promote your products you are sponsoring and broughting to life a new star
rising website that can be a must value to the web.

That’s why Google Adsense/Adwords programs are so great, because everybody wins,
advertisers pay per click and make sales using Adwords, clicks and impressions
are made by the Adsense publishers that receive compensation, it’s a
rollercoster that never stops so therefore it is unbeatable.

It’s called “revenue sharing” and it’s the most powerfull internet marketing
tool you will ever find!

Thousands of people every day discover Adsense and start making money at home
with their websites, they share the secret with others and when others make
money everyone makes money, that’s why I had the trouble to write and
distribute this little article, to spread the good news and off course make my
own fortune.

If you have a website and are looking for a serious income this is the perfect
opportunity for you to grab, Adsense is the best money making program
circulating on the web, one of the most well paid if not the number 1 and best
of all it is real!

Join Google Adsense free and retire from your job in months, use Google Adwords
to rise up your business and become a millionaire in the next year.

Let me show you the headline 1.000.000 in 6 months:

Besides the Adsense earnings and the Adwords traffic that you can generate you
can also make big money referring others to the Adwords and Adsense programs,
when they use the programs you get paid, well paid.

This is how the programs work, by own Google words:

“When an advertiser who signed up for Google AdWords through your referral
spends $5.00 (in addition to the $5.00 sign-up fee) within 90 days of sign-up,
you will be credited with $5.00. When that same advertiser spends $100.00
within 90 days of sign-up, you will be credited with an additional $40.00. If,
in any 180-day period, you refer 20 advertisers who each spend more than
$100.00 within 90 days of their respective sign-ups, you will be awarded a
$600.00 bonus.”

“When a publisher who signed up for Google AdSense through your referral earns
$5.00 within 180 days of sign-up, you will be credited with $5.00. When that
same publisher earns $100.00 within 180 days of sign-up and is eligible for
payout, you will be credited with an additional $250.00. If, in any 180 day
period, you refer 25 publishers who each earn more than $100.00 and are all
eligible for payout, you will be awarded a $2,000.00 bonus.”

Do I need to say anything else to convince you to sign up? I Don’t think so.

Just do the math and you will find out the potential of your earnings, if you
already know the programs you know what im talking about and have a better
perspective, if you don’t I tell you this, you can look but I guarantee that
does not exist nothing else like it.

And don’t worry, take it easy, take your time, it doesn’t matter if you don’t
understand any of this, the only matter is that you have a website and want to
make money with it, in the process you will discover how everything works and
how tho succeed in your goals.

Now there is only one way that you can do this which is from knowing how to drive traffic to your website. Depending on your budget you may have to choose from one of two traffic options.

The first strategy to be considered is Paid Traffic.

When it comes to using paid traffic methods you will have to be prepared to purchase traffic and in some cases you will start to recieve traffic to your website immediately. A good method of getting traffic immediately to your website is to use Pay Per Click search engines such as Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing.

With Pay Per Click advertising you will be involved in setting up advertising campaigns. A large part of this process involves bidding on keywords which can either be really in expensive or it can become very expensive. The cost of bidding on the keywords will depend massively on how well you have researched them and how competitive they are.

When it comes to researching keywords with your Pay Per Click advertising there are certain tools that can be used such as the Google Adwords external keyword tool. These tools allow you to check the level of monthly searches, competitiveness and will also offer alternative keyword suggestions.

Many people like to test out their website, products or services when they have only just launched and for this paid traffic methods are the very best way. One of the main reasons why this is the best way to test out your website is because traffic will be delivered almost immediately therefore you will not have to wait long to find out the average conversion of your product or service.

The main things to look out for with Pay Per Click advertising is first of all how much you are bidding per keyword and cost per click. Some keywords start of as little as $0.04 per click however this does depend on various factors including the quality score of your advert and website.

If the cost per click starts to rise suddenly then I suggest you look at how targetted your Pay Per Click advert is along with how targetted your website is also.

The other traffic strategy is Free Traffic.

When it comes to Free Traffic you must never place all of your hopes and dreams into just one traffic generation source. The reason for this is because you will require as many traffic generation sources as possible to ensure you get as much traffic as possible along with not getting heavily impacted by growing competition.

Search engine optimization is a great way to get Free Traffic from the search engines which starts from hiring a professional to perform your SEO services on your website. Thios will improve your rankings for various keywords within the search engines. If your SEO is performed correctly then when someone searches for the keywords your website may come on up on page 1 of the search engines.

When it comes to converting your traffic into sales and paying customers it becomes much easier with organic search engine traffic. The reason being these website visitors are highly targetted due to the fact they have searched using a particular keyword search related to your product or service which means they have an interest in what you have to sell.

However the other side or Search Engine Optimization / SEO is quitekly simply that sometimes it can take quite sometime for your website to start gaining high search engine rankings. Unless your website is ranking in the first three pages of the search engine results there will never been much organic search engine traffic to your website. This process has been known to take over 4 months on occasion.

When the search engines start to deliver long term free traffic onto your website you will always be very happy that you waited for your website to gain high search engine rankings. Obviously the more sales you recieve will be dependant on how much traffic you recieve which will then determine how much money you earn. As your website continues to gain higher search engine rankings your traffic will increase also.

The question still remains would a paid traffic generation method be best or a free traffic strategy?

I highly suggest that you use both paid and traffic in order to boost your income with your online internet based business. Where possible it is a great suggestion to use free and paid traffic strategies that way you will get as much traffic to your website as possible.

So what happens now is they start to come up with ideas for their new domain name however the obstacles many end up facing is that new domain name is usually already taken. Therefore when you do finally find a domain name that has not already been taken you are so enthusiastic that you snap it up without thinking that you have not build the web site as of yet.

However most likely you will not realise that you have a problem quite simply because once you have registered your new domain name your web hosting company will then put into place a domain name parked page which will disappear when you have built your new web site. When it comes to parked domain name pages I am sure you will have seen many of them around when surfing the internet visiting web pages especially ones hosted with GoDaddy as these are coming for having parked domain name pages.

What you have to remember in your mind is that you are planning to use your new domain name to build your new web site onto it which means you should beware of setting up a parked domain name page.

When the search engines such as Google crawl around the internet they tend to find out about your new domain name and new web site very fast which means when they crawl onto your new web site they will see your parked domain name page. At this point the search engine quite possibly Google will realise that they have hundreds of these parked domain pages in their index therefore they will hold your parked domain name page will very little priority meaning they will not crawl your web site for quite some time.

However when your new web site is live on the internet if you are like everyone else with a web site you will want the search engines especially Google to crawl your web site in order to give it good search engine rankings bringing FREE traffic to your web site but at this point search engines and Google will no longer crawl your web site once they have seen the parked domain page. Therefore the only way now will be hard work to bring the search engines and Google back to your web site now your parked domain name page is gone.

When it comes to getting Google interested in your web site after they have seen your parked domain name page that used to be there it can become extremely difficult.

Of course you also need to remember that you do not want Google to place your website into their Google Sandbox with alot of the other new sites awaiting entry into the Google Index therefore I would not place a parked domain name page on your new website but instead simply avoid anything untill your web site is ready.
