However if we go back just 9 years I was in the position of being 18 years old and stuck in a JOB working with a chinese wholesale company who delivered all the various different types of chinese food to restaurants, take aways and also had a shop for people to come and buy from.

My days in this company namely Chinatown Groceries was to correspond with customers as they came to the store, to arrange stock to go to their warehouse, accept stock coming in from suppliers and warehouse, ensure enough stock on shelves and basically anything else that they felt my slave labour was there for.

I stayed in this company for little over 7 months thinking all of that time that this is what life was meant to be like for me and that there wasnt anything else at all, even my grandmother once said to me this is the type of JOB people like us should have but you know I just felt I was wasting my life, time, ambition and the reason for that was because I had something very special that I could see many around me did not appear to have!

A DREAM OF HOW MY LIFE SHOULD BE

So here I was just become 18 by a couple of months and stuck in a dead end JOB going nowhere and all I had was my dream but could not see anyway of really achieving it because life at this stage was looking very bleak indeed for me and everyone around me that I spoke to about my dreams, my vision in life would just laugh and say thats not for people like us.

So what changed?

I was walking home from work one evening when I suddenly realised just what was stopping me from progressing with my life and achieving my dreams and that something was the people around me so at this point I knew if I was going to succeed in life I had to surround myself with the correct people and correct information.

So what did I do next?

Well I moved 210 miles away from Glasgow to Manchester, this was a very different experience to what I had been used to all my life but I knew if I was going to achieve something different then I had to do something different.

So I got a National Express Coach from Glasgow at 11pm one night and arrive in manchester just after 2.30am, I didnt know anywhere, anyone or even what I was going to do but for the first time in my life I was smiling with excitement about what the future is going to hold for me and this made me very happy indeed.

Now over th next 3 – 4 months I spent my time trying to get everything sorted out to get me settled but still I was not entirely comfortable and that was because money was running out and I knew the prospect of having to work a JOB was starting to rise its ugly head once again and this I did not like at all.

What happened next?

One evening I was travelling home from seeing Elizabeth who is now my son Jack’s mother and I was on the number 100 bus travelling from Warrington to Manchester and was reading the friday edition of the Manchester Evening News and looking at the employment section and I seen something very interesting!

The word OPPORTUNITY

Now this filled me with excitement and I really could not wait to be reading the remainder of this so as I carried on reading the word OPPORTUNITY kept arising and I just had to call them, so I did then they asked me to come see them for an informal chat.

At this chat I was just told that it was a sales position and I could come back tomorrow to spend the day with one of the trainee managers and meet some customers and learn a bit more about it so as you can imagine I was very happy indeed finally feeling like my life was going somewhere.

However when I went back the next day I was introduced to an 18 year old boy called Mark the same as me only he was from Brisbane, Australia and he then took me out to watch him knocking on doors selling utility products and this went on till around 1pm in the afternoon when he then took me for lunch and explained that this was not just any type of JOB but in fact it was an MLM opportunity.

Of course I didnt know what MLM was so he spent the remainder of the time explaining to me and I just got happier and happier because the amount of opportunity just got greater and greater.

I carried on there for 2 years and progressed very far but in the end it was taking up 60 hours plus of my week.

I was looking for leverage

This was the point when I was sat in the office one night waiting on my sales reps coming back from the field and I stumbled accross a website from Simon Stepsys who has later become my very good personal friend, this website just asked me if I would like to make more money in the next 3 months that I had ever seen in my life and straight away I knew the answer was YES.

Now here I am 9 years later passing those skills, knowledge and success onto ordinary people just like yourself.

Always remember I am just an ordinary person however I have an extra ordinary vision on life and always have had!
